Two-Vehicle Collision In Carpentersville, Illinois Leads To Fatality And Injury

There was a fatal collision Sunday morning in Carpentersville.  Details on the fatal crash appear to be limited at this time.

According to the Carpentersville Police Department, the crash occurred on Route 25 (Kennedy Drive) near Fir Street.  The crash happened at 10:30 a.m.

One of the drivers was killed in the collision; the other driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were considered to be non-life-threatening in nature.

The cause of the crash appears to not be publicly disclosed at this time.
