There was a St. Charles Township pedestrian accident Tuesday (October 1, 2019) night. This St. Charles Township pedestrian accident left the pedestrian with life-threatening injuries. He was flown to a hospital for medical treatment.

According to a Kane County Sheriff’s Office news release, a Ford Crown Victoria driven by Amber Blaskoski, 28, of St. Charles was traveling west on Courier Avenue near the intersection of Sycamore Avenue when it struck a pedestrian later identified as David Busby, 40, of St. Charles, who was walking in the roadway.

Busby was flown to the hospital for treatment of his accident injuries. Those injuries were considered to be life-threatening in nature.

The investigation of this St. Charles Township pedestrian accident is being conducted by the Kane County Sheriff’s Office detectives and members of the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team.
