Man Dies Following Crash In Campton Hills

There was a car accident in Campton Hills in which a man has died following the crash.

According to the Campton Hills Police Department, the accident happened Thursday (April 14, 2016) at approximately 8:54 p.m. as a Honda minivan was traveling westbound on Silver Glen Road, west of Brierwood Drive.

At that time, the minivan left the roadway and hit a sign and tree.  The minivan then went into a ditch.

The driver was identified as Stephen Bushy, 72, of Carpentersville.  He was taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva for treatment of his accident injuries, after which he was pronounced dead.

According to his family, a medical issue may contributed to or caused the accident.
