Driver Dies In Single-Vehicle Kane County Crash
There was a fatal car accident early Friday morning (February 12, 2016) in Huntley.
An excerpt from the abc7chicago.com article of February 12, 2016, titled “Driver ID’d in deadly Huntley crash that may have been intentional, police say“:
Officers arrived at the scene on Route 47 at Jim Dahmer Drive just before 4:50 a.m. Friday. A 2002 Honda CRV was on its side and there were large, black skid marks on the pavement. Police said the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was found dead.
The driver was identified as David C. Flight, 56, of unincorporated Gilberts.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the CRV was heading west on Freeman Road, at a high rate of speed, at which point the driver lost control of the SUV. The vehicle rolled over and landed on Route 47.
Media sources also indicate another SUV crash not far from this accident scene.
