Bicycle Accident In Kane County

There was a hit & run bicycle accident Thursday evening (November 6, 2014) in Aurora, Illinois.

According to Aurora Police, this bicycle accident happened on Liberty Street, east of Farnsworth Avenue, at approximately 5:44 p.m.  At that time the bicycle was struck by a red pickup truck, which fled the accident scene.

According to police, the truck is said to be a full-size pickup truck.

Following the crash, the victim was transported to an Aurora hospital with critical injuries, and airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
