Fatal Pedestrian Accident In Kane County

There was a fatal pedestrian accident late Saturday (March 31, 2018) night in Aurora.  The accident involved a car fatally striking a man.

Details on this fatal Kane County accident are limited at this time.

According to Aurora Police, the accident occurred as a man was walking on Long Drive at approximately 11:10 p.m.   He was fatally struck by a Buick Regal that was traveling westbound on Ogden Avenue.

The car was being driven by a 19-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman was a passenger, police said. It was unclear if either were injured.

The pedestrian who was hit by the car was subsequently identified as Lorenzo I Bryant, 37, of Aurora.
