Kane County, Illinois Motorcycle Accident
There was a motorcycle accident in Aurora, Illinois on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
This Kane County motorcycle accident happened at approximately 6:30 p.m., at the intersection of Orchard & Jericho.
According to preliminary information, at the time of the vehicle accident a SUV was heading northbound on Orchard, and was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Jericho when it collided with a motorcycle heading southbound on Orchard.
The driver of the SUV was identified as Mary C. Betz, 42, of Montgomery. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The motorcyclist was identified as Michael A. Bradley, 21, of Aurora. Bradley was taken to a hospital and then airlifted to a Chicago hospital and is expected to survive this motorcycle accident.

Both drivers were cited for no insurance. Betz received a ticket for failure to yield while turning left. Bradley received a ticket for operating a motorcycle without valid classification.
